Hi,

1) Can I mount a hard disk that has been formated with vfat32 support in
RH5.0? If so how? (I recently upgraded my kernel to 2.0.35-2)

2) What is the name of the program that brings up that control panel thing
in x-win in redhat5.0 ?

3) How can I view long filenames on my cdrom in RH5.0? If I view the CD
contents in win95 I see the long filenames but in rehdat I see blah~1.tgz
etc.. not the long filenames.

4) At the moment I am using RH5.0 but can I apply the updates from the
redhat5.1 directory in the redhat site? Does it make any difference? - and
how do I actually make my RH5.0 into RH5.1 ?

5) When I update something like for example glibc do I need to get all
these files:

gllibc-2.0.7-19...
glibc-debug..
glibc-devel...
glibc-profile..

or is glibc-2.0.7-19.. all that I really need?

6) Is there any sort of checklist going around that I can use to see if my
system is relatively secure and safe from attacks and other exploits?

Thanks for any help, I'm only 3 days old in Redhat but so far I've
sucessfully installed windomaker and upgraded the kernel :)

Nelson
