I wish I could help you more but I have worked with Ontrack and can tell
you what
happened. Ontrack changes your CMOS settings to some other track/sector/head
configuration and the remaps it via software at boot. It replaces your MBR.
I hope some one can tell you a way short of rebuild but my guess would be
you will
be stuck with boot from floppy. I hope I am wrong, it did happen once :)
