I know this has probably been covered in the past, but i couldn't find
anything quickly in the list archives.
I think my basic question is how to recompile an rpm with some extras
installed that i've downloaded, so that these are compiled into the code.
If i download foo.tar.gz i can often times download foo-extras.tar.gz and
then when i do the make command, i have the extras available.
when i rpm -i foo.rpm these extras aren't available so i would like to
compile these in. do i need to scrap the rpm and download the foo.tar.gz??
I'm really just trying in to get a better toolbar on xemacs but i thought
i'd ask the more general question.
