We've got two machines, both with 128M RAM installed. Since upgrading to
redhat 5.1 I can't seem to get it to recognize the RAM over 64M. Or could
it be my perception of things is off?

anyway, I did check the FAQ and made an attempt at adding the
append="MEM=128M" line in the lilo conf, on both machines and it doesn't
appear to be working.

Here is my lilo.conf:

boot=/dev/sda
timeout=50
prompt
  vga = normal
  read-only
  append="mem=128M"
map=/boot/map
install=/boot/boot.b
image=/boot/vmlinuz-scsi
        label=scsi
        read-only
        root=/dev/sdb6

From the boot messages:

Oct 19 13:39:08 stargate kernel: Memory: 64100k/66496k available (788k
kernel code, 384k reserved, 1224k data)

From top:

CPU states: 1.7% user, 1.3% system, 0.0% nice, 97.3% idle
Mem:   64100K av,  32792K used,  31308K free,  37236K shrd,   7556K buff
Swap:      0K av,      0K used,      0K free                 11192K cached

Is there something else I should be looking into?
