[alias block-major-22 off] in /etc/config.modules seems to have solved =
the problem.
I couldn't trace the program trying to access the secondary IDE.
I determined that [fdisk -l] generates such entries in the logs.
Therefore, I think that, as dual IDE's are very common today, the =
software assumes I have a dual one too. Well I don't.
