Can you send and receive mail?
How many versions of Netscape do you have installed? Do you mean you have
three (one from Red Hat, and communicator and navigator from Netscape's
site)?

Are you sure? Each home directory will have a directory ~/.netscape
containing its own preferences. Each user can have a quite different
configuration.

From the path. Type: which netscape The Red Hat rpm installs a shell script
that starts netscape.

Configure netscape from both accounts similarly? (the configuration is in a
file ~/.netscape/preferences.js, but is normally set through the
Edit->Preferences dialog box.)

What is your connection to the Internet? If you are using a ppp connection
(over a modem), you need something like IP masquerade: see the mini HOWTO.
It's easy to set up, and works well for me.
If you have an ethernet connection, how is your routing configured?
