go to www.tomshardware.com for the info on the CPU. As the celeron is meant to
be a low-cost alternative to the P2, it does not support SMP. however, read
about the 300a (mendocino core) on the web page, and how overclockable it is.
I have plenty of friends running this setup at 450mhz, and it's solid as a rock
for them....

go to www.pricewatch.com to find the lowest prices on the hardware...last I
checked, a 300a was $150, which is damned cheap for something that can be made
as fast as a 450pII.

RE the text format that you're using, if it annoys people, why use it? Is HTML
THAT beneficial to getting your point across? This is an e-mail list where
your messages go out to many...even if it's not an inconvenience to them, it is
a sign on your part showing that your interests are more important than
theirs. Just be nice and turn it off.
