Hi,
I've been missing some files from my /tmp directory.
It's the 4th primary partition in my HD. I created a couple of
subdirectories and store my downloaded and other files there about 2
weeks ago. Yesterday, when I browsed through that /tmp , I noticed
that I've lost a lot of files from several different subdirectories. I
know that I didn't delete them, and there is no one else using this
system. Is it a HD failure, or can anyone explain it?

thanks,

Dave
