Hello. Boy do i have questions. Ok let me list them off...
1. I have a nice new modem that works really fine on my linux server. I
can dial out and access my IPS' account really fine. I have this little
server hooked up to a network and a T1 out there some where that get no
activity at night. I want to dial in to the computer and establish a PPP
section between linux and my win95 machine. I have set up uugetty really
easily but I can't figure out to make them start a PPP section. I can
access UNIX easily but no PPP. Help
2. In SMB's conf file they talk about roaming profiles. I really have to
use a roaming profile in my network. I can't find any documentation on
it.... They do not expand on the subject. Is it something that is still
in the works.????
3. If I can't get that set up then i need to get a "LDAP" Demon. I have
only found one. It was commercial software (shit, no budget). Does any
one have any knowledge of any LDAP programs that are FREE.....
4. Does any one know how to set up remote X windows (I think you can set
it up so they are using the servers CPU cycles). I have a lab of
386's/486's and a server that can be used as there server. I have read
that there is ways to set it up but I have not found any thing on it.
(I don't what to buy any more hardware)
5. I thing that is it for the hour. Thanks every one....
Daniel
