I have been searching around for some info on my problem and have not been
able to find it. If someone could point me in the right direction or even
answer the question that would be great.

I installed MSDOS on what I thought was a clean harddisk. But no, my MBR was
not set correctly, so in DOS I ran fdisk /mbr at the prompt. This allowed me
to install and run DOS

I have three partitions; one for DOS/NT4 Server (1000MB) and two for Linux
(Swap 127MB and Root 1100 MB approx).

I successfully installed linux on the non-DOS partitions and successfully
installed NT Server on the DOS partition. I also installed Service Pack 3
for Winnt4.

The problem occurs when I try to install the Option Pack 4 to get IIS4 and
all the latest components. It starts copying files but then gives an error
saying that the OS could not be detected and therefore the option pack
cannot be installed.

Any pointers?

Thanks, Rob
