I just received my official Colgate CD's and user's guide. I looked in the
user's guide for reference to upgrading, but couldn't find any (other than
how to upgrade individual RPM's). This contrasts with the Picasso manual which
has a whole chapter on upgrading. I then looked on the first CD. This had an
entry for the upgrade script, but it was merely a symbolic link to a
nonexistent file. What's up? One of the nice features of RedHat Linux has been
the painless way it allows one to upgrade from one release to the next. I
don't want to do a full install, since I have too much non-RedHat software
which I don't want to blow away on my system, not to mention user directories
and accounts.
                                                      Don Sinclair
p.s. Would the upgrade script on the Picasso CD work?
