I'm sorry this release has had so many problems. We did have a 6 week beta
program to try and iron out the bugs but that proved insufficient. I'm not
sure how we can get better testing in the future, but we'll see what we
can do (suggestions are welcome). Almost all of the problems in Colgate
simply went unreported in Rembrandt. There were some whose severity we
underestimated (including the SCSI problems I thought affected a small
proportion of users [judging from the Rembrandt complaints we received])
and we'll do everything we can to make sure that doesn't happen again.
