I can't quite agree. I've been a beta tester in the past. When the product
I tested was stable and none of us had any more bugs to report, the product
shipped. THEN more bugs were discovered. Most were due to different
hardware, others to things that none of us tried. Point is, it is very
difficult to fully test a complex product like linux before it ships.
