Haven't used it, but I know it.  That I have seen, Metro X does not yet 
support it.  Accelorated X however does support it.  The chipset is the 
S3 Virge chipset.  It is a very nice card.  You'll pay $99 for X server
and won't be able to use the real benefits of the 3d card, but you should 
be happy with the price anyway.  $199 for a 4 mb Diamond 3d is not bad.
