I currently have a 3.0.3 (4.0 on the way) setup running apache 1.0.3
I want to setup passwords, so I created .htaccess files.
I then went to setup a .htpasswd and could not find the htpasswd utility.
I downloaded 1.1 from apache.org and it did not have it.
I searched the web and found a version of htpasswd source code.
(I don't remember where I got it from)
I can now create the .htpasswd file but the server always rejects the password.

I know I'm just missing something here, but I have no idea what it is.
