It would be nice to have word diff included with Red Hat Linux.  It
was written by Francois Pinnard, famous GNU contributor, it is on
prep.ai.mit.edu:/pub/gnu, in case some soul wants to make an rpm for
us :-).

That reminds me, those of us that use 8-bit chars for accents and
special characters not available in the US use another GNU program
called recode: it takes care of moving your files from one character
set to another character set.  I have never seen a Linux distribution
that ships that program, and it is a very useful thing.  Also, on prep.
