That's the first thing I checked.  And other rpms ftp'ed at the same time 
worked fine.  I suspect that the pkg is fine, but my rpm executable is 
gorfed.  See my other rpm-related notes.  But thanks.

Colgate is my first RedHat.  So far this has been much, -much- more 
painful than any of the Slackware installs I've done over the last couple 
years.  I'm surprised to say the least.
