FTP Conversions NOT Working!

Colgate User:
The FTP Daemon of my Colgate Installation does NOT provide FTP Conversion
(such as .TAR & .Z) for "regular users (just reports "No such file OR
directory")! Does work for the Anonymous FTP Account (with the anonftp
RPM installed) and also works under Picasso? Any explainations/solutions?
