There is also a program written by Rich Salz some time ago called mail2news,
which also has a sister program news2mail. It doesn't come with much
documentation, but I can send you the source, or it's available on one of the
linux ftp sites. However, at least on 2.0.10 it wouldn't run out of the box.
I had to do a small fix and it now works fine. If you are interested
I can send you the file [and explain how I use it], it's not large.
There isn't a rpm for it yet, and I haven't got round to seeing if I can
make one either. Maybe the perl script is good enough, but this may depend
on the number of messages you want to put in newsgroups.
