Another tidbit -- now that grep is a directory, not a normal executable,
rpm -e grep fails with "Operation not permitted"
Incidentally, the files in directory /usr/bin/grep are
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 254520 Aug 16 1995 dvipsk.dvi
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 227740 Aug 16 1995 kpathsea.dvi
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 734156 Mar 11 1996 texinfo.dvi
Oddly enough, rpm says none of these files are owned by any package.
Strange, since I haven't installed anything but Colgate.
