I'm trying to setup a small network using internal address (Class C
192.168.0.0) between three machines.
Here's the layout:
I have 2 ethernet cards in machine 1, The first card is a 100mb Etherpower
SMC, the second is just a ne2000 10mb card. Machine 2 has 1 SMC
Etherpower which work fine between machine 1 running a 100mb network using
a twister pair crossover cable. Now I have a 3 machine with a 10mb
EtherExpress, which I would like to connect to the second ne2000 in
machine 1 using regular coax bnc connectors.
Well I can't seem to get routing right between machine 1 and 3, the 10mb
network.
How would you set this up? Any suggestions or comments would be
appreciated.
Please be as thorough as possible. Go through what my IP's should be
and subnets, gateways, etc. I have these setup, but I'm almost sure it's
wrong.
Thanks
