        The non-IP Virtual domains rely on the browser sending the
"Host:~~~" field in the request header.  Curently, Netscape 2.0 and above
does this, along with Explorer 3.0 and above.  The latest version of lynx
also appears to work as well.

        Older browsers do have not this capability, so Explorer 2.0 for
Windows and Macintosh cannot access the virtual domain.  I don't know about
Apple's CyberDog.  Virtual IP's are much more supported, as there are a
significant number of older browsers still being used.

        When an unsupported browser hits the site, the web server can't
determine where the user wanted to go, so the user gets re-directed to the
main or "real" domain of the server.
