You have to reconfigure the kernel to do this. Re-installing
will just put the same version on your disk again.
Reconfiguration of the kernel is described step-by-step in
the kernel HoTo (on your CD as well as on numerous WWW sites)
There has been a thread on the Ensoniq, it does work according
to it.

Again, you must reconfigure the kernel to include ftape support
(I assume that your Colorado is on the floppy controller).
It is supported. I have an Exabyte Eagle on the floppy controller
and it seems to work so far.

You have to select the right combination of your monitor and card.
I have the same monitor and settings for a 17" Sony monitor
work just fine (I got the information from this list). As far
as I remember it is Sony 17SFII. My graphics card is ATI Mach64 which
came with the Gateway, and in MetroX the settings I selected were
for ATI Pro Turbo Mach64. It works fine.
You might consider asking the list before flaming next time.
