I would reply personally (rather than to the list), but the e-mail

Put `image=/boot/vmlinux' and the indented lines following before the
`other=/dev/hda1' line; and then re-run lilo.
Alternatively, hold down shift when starting up, or use a boot floppy,
or use loadlin.
