logdaemon5.3 is the best program for doing this sort of work. However, it
currently does not work very well with Linux. (Atleast I couldn't get it
to compile and run) Does anyone know if this port has been attempted? Or
is being worked on?
Current Red Hat allows some easy rejection of telnet, however it if fairly
limited...
