Your response to this problem engendered a bit of confusion on my part.
"Apparently you left your machine on overnight" seems to indicate that there
is some problem with leaving it on all the time. Are there some special
considerations that must be taken into account when leaving a machine on all
the time? There are very few times that this machine is off, so I'd like
some clarification on this point. Once I convert over fully to Linux and
the kids have their own machine there won't be a need to boot back into
Win95. Please clarify the above point.
