Hi,

I have an MGA Millennium w/ 4 MB. Whenever I try to run MetroX at
800x600x256 colors, the screen comes up messed up (my GoodStuff bar is
shifted off the screen) and half the screen looks interlaced and graphics
gets superimposed on each other when I moved windows around.

800x600x32,000 colors, 800x600x64,000 colors, 24-bit, etc., etc. all work.
If fact, it will work at 800x600x256 IF I use a virtual desktop. Every
resolution and every color depth in every possible configuration works
EXCEPT for 800x600x256 w/o virtual desktop. Is this a bug in MetroX? A
hardware flaw in the MGA Millennium? Tweaking the modeline won't do
anything because it works at 800x600 at other color depths, right?. Any
ideas folks? Thanks.
