Does anyone have a clue on this? thanks in advance.
1. Redhat/Intel 4.0 failed to autoprobe my Adaptec 1542CF SCSI controller
during installation, even after I specified the "aha1542=0x130" parameter.
2. Now I've Redhat 4.0 running but I still can't have the 1542CF
recognized. I re-compiled the kernel with SCSI support for 1542CF (I tried
both Moduler (M) and built-in kernel (*) support), and added append =
"aha=0x130,10,7" in lilo.conf. However, Redhat still couldn't recognize the
SCSI controller (I didn't have such problem with Slackware Linux 96).
I would appreciate if someone can give me a hand on this. . .thanks.
