I just bought a Toshiba T3600CT to replace my 3400CT. I am 95% sure that
there is something either wrong with the hard drive or the drive
controller in the new unit. Redhat will start to install and will then
freeze. The hard drive light will either continue to blink or not, either
way, there is no drive activity. This may happen when the drive is
formatting, or durring to first few packages. It will carry on like this
indefinately.
Before I call the place I got it this afternoon and try to get another
hard drive, I want to make sure that someone has a 3600CT working out
there!!
IF you have t3600CT running RH 4.0 just let me know. Thanks a lot,
