I need to recompile X11R6 (I need to add the -D_REENTRANT flag). Ok, RPM
makes this easy, right? Just mount the cdrom, go to the directory, and
type "rpm --recompile X11R6.1-pl1-11.src.rpm".
Nope:
Installing X11R6.1-pl1-11.src.rpm
Arch mismatch!
///usr/src/redhat/SPECS/X!11R6.1.spec doesn't build on this architecture.
This architecture is i386 ... What do you _mean_ it doesn't build?
I DL's the file from the redhat ftp site...and got the exact same result.
Why is the source file for X11 sparc specific?
