Yes this is my setup. I've decided to go with the version
of AcceleratedX 1.2 that came with CND. It works great and is
so easy to reconfigure.
However, I will download XFree3.2 this weekend.
I would like a tool to tell me which performs better:
XFree 3.2, XFree 3.1, AcceleratedX, or MetroX. I recall
a tool that measures the number of Xstones (or something
like that), but I don't recall where it is. Anyone know?

I don't think I was playing any music or sounds though at the time,
but I was doing a lot of network activity. I am still looking for a
good tool to diagnose X hangs or slugishness. Does this exist?

This is not the problem, I always set the time off an internet clock
which is always correct.
