        Hi,

I would like to test Red Hat Bind over one machine running Linux
Slackware. I have installed RPM, but when I try to install bind, it
fails:

failed dependencies:
        libc.so.5 is needed by bind-4.9.4-3

        Although I have libc.so.5 in /lib/libc.so.5, I don't know where
the red hat put it ... Could somebody help me , please ? :)

But the real doubt is : is it a good ideia to do this kind of
test ? Does it work ? Or, after I solve this problem, it will ask for
another files ... ?

Thanks for any kind of information

                                Fernando

PS: at this moment, I would not like to substitute my whole Linux
Slackware version but I am having some problems with bind ...
