I re-ran xf86config when I installed XFree86 3.2 and it gave me the correct
keyboard type (Gateway 2000 AnyKey, GB layout). I can't remember the keyword
on the LHS in /etc/XF86config (Keyboard, I think :-), but I *can* remember
the magic string on the RHS - the keyboard entry looks something like this:
Keyboard "en_US(pc101)+gb"
Try that (or something like it :-)
