Give Mosaic a try.  Very few people still use it, but I'm one of them. :)
It doesn't do nearly as many html stunts as Netscrape (at least the Unix
version), but it is a nice, simple web browser.

I have never experienced your postscript problem.  Sheesh, and I thought
PostScript was standard!  I'm not a postscript expert, perhaps somebody
might know if Netscape uses some magical Level 2 features or something that
might not be supported on Mr. Lindstrom's postscript previewer?
