Hi,

 I installed ghostscript-4.03 from the RPM in the contrib directory.
I have the updated 3.33 RPM installed as well. Both look for fonts in
the /usr/share/ghostscript/fonts directory as far as I can tell. 
I have not tryied the ghostscript-4.01 RPM you mentioned, maybe it is
the problem?

 The stcolor support in 3.33 is reported buggy - I recommend using 
gs 4.03 if you have that printer (I do here at work and love it).
The new options for specifying dithering options makes 4.03 much better.
