In Windows 95 run the Xwin32 program.
telnet to the linux box.
in bash in the telnet windows do:
export DISPLAY=???????:0.0
<the ?????? should be replaced with the name or IP address of the Win95
machine.>
then you simply issue a command like xterm & from the telnet and close the
telnet window.
You have an xterm window now and can open other windows/programs at will.
Pretty useful stuff if you are stuck in 95 and need some relief.
