I have been wondering for a while:

1) If X works for me under XFree, is there any reason to upgrade
   to either MetroX or AcceleratedX?

2) Do I need MetroX or AcceleratedX in order to use Motif or
   OpenGL?

3) Are they completely interchangeable, that is can I have three
   startup scripts such as
      startx-XFree
      startx-MetroX
      startx-AccelX
that will startup each server (one at a time of course)?

4) I'm searching for statistics that compare XFree, MetroX and
AcceleratedX, but couldn't find any. Is this available?

5) Where can I find out the differences between XFree 3.1 and
   XFree 3.2?

                                           Thanks in advance:
                                           Michael J. Yanowitz
