Yes, but you don't mention 10BaseT full-duplex vice half-duplex.  I'm
assuming you are not implying that your card does FDDI.  Second you
mention Tulip Card, but do not mention whether or not it is the SMC
EtherPower 9332DST.  The SMC cards as I mentioned before, work great at
100BaseTx, it is 10BaseT full-duplex where it falls down.  10BaseT half
duplex works, with mediocre performance.  We have tried
4 different cards in 4 different motherboards with the same results
and have used kernels from 2.0.18 to 2.0.25 without success.  Motherboards
used are ASUS P54, Tyan Tomcat I and II, Acer P5.  We have tried this
with Cisco Catalyst-3000 and 3Com Linkswitches with the same result.
Any large transfer results in "ethernet frame spanned multiple buffers"
errors as the driver clearly is not able to take the data from the network
and put it on the bus fast enough in this mode only.  Check your network
out and see if you are running any in 10 full-duplex vice half-duplex.
If anyone has seen this problem and knows of a solution, I would be glad
to hear it.  I am not looking for testimonials for one card or another,
just sharing my experience with cards.  I still have not seen a single
card/driver combination for linux that does it ALL well.  10/100 full and
half at both speeds.
