I'll try to get back on here with some more info, but this morning
when I booted up Linux on my box at home it said maximum number of
mounts reached and ran fsck... no problem... Or so I thought...
Fsck proceeded to spew some nasty error messages about inaccessible
spots on my hard drive and dropped me into a shell to run fsck
manually.
so I did and it was talking about unrecoverable errors in certain
places on my hard drive.. now X doesn't work anymore... is my hard
drive actually dying or could I solve this with a reformat and
reinstall?
