I have taken over a system running Red Hat 3.0.3 with a Linux kernel 1.2.13.
The system is a 486DX66 with 32meg of RAM, 1g hard drive (IDE). I need to
know what I have to do, step by step if possible, to upgrade the kernel and
any modules to bring this system up to date. It serves as the name and mail
server for our little 10 line system so I don't want to loose anything. I'm
new to Linux and trying to learn as I go, but the HOW-TO's are a bit
confusing. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
