I know this is purely cosmetic, but...
I have a machine at home with no networking as yet, so I didn't
install any networking support. Now any prompt containing \h
says 'localhost'. I've changed /etc/HOSTNAME and put a line
in /etc/rc.d/rc.local, and user login sessions actually come
up with the right HOSTNAME, but this does nothing to \h.
All ideas welcome.
Dirk
