This is incorrect. The Pipeline 25 (there are at least two versions now)
is available with an ip routing option and compression. Should be around
700.00US. Compression depends on the ISP supporting it. I have a
commercial account with PSI and they do not support the compression even
though I am dialing into an Ascend.
Other companies have dialup routers in the 600 to 700.00US range. All
these prices have dropped as the number of units manufactured increases
and the competition heats up.
