No is *NOT* a flashpoint. It is the predacessor to the 948c, and a very
good card for any OS including Linux. The 948c has ULTRA support
and a flash (upgradable bios), but who needs em ? ;-). I got mine for
US$67. Buslogic support is included in the Linux scsi drivers.
