Floppy (only) booting RH Linux 486/8Mb RAM PCs

I would like to use cheap (floppy disk only) PCs as UNIX terminals to unix
hosts - I have currently got them using DOS + NCSA telnet, which is OK but
does not really make much use of the 8Mb RAM that the PCs have.

Since the RH install floppy contains everything that I would need to achieve
this result - has anyone set up a RH Linux boot floppy like this. 

I'm sure I could work it out from the source stuff at RH but if someone has
already done it . . .
