With the addition of the "aha152x=0x340,11,7" statement, I was able to
install Redhat 4.0 on an IDE HD machine with SCSI CD-ROM attached to an
Adaptec 1510A card. Now I can't mount the CD-ROM again. On boot I get
scsi: 0 hosts
When I attempt to mount the device
mount -t iso9660 -r /dev/scd0 /mnt/cdrom
I get
the kernel does not recognize /dev/scd0 as a block device
I've added the above parameters at the LILO boot as
linux aha152x=0x340,11,7 and as
linux aha152x=0x340,11,7,1
but neither worked. I've tried adding this as an append clause to lilo.conf
but that didn't work either.
Any suggestions?
