Re: redhat and CDROM

I have also been expirencing this problem, I tell the linux install that 
my cd-rom is a sony, Then it accesses the cd-rom, then says, "could not 
mount cd-rom, I/O error".  I have also tried my irq and base port just 
like it says in the manual. So far I have had no success whatso ever.
