Hello!
I have Redhat 4.0 with shadow passwords (I ran pwconv5, and voila)
I had pcnfsd before this up, and working. My clients use xfs (dos).
And from now, it doesn't work. I recompiled the pcnfsd package with
shadow support (-DSHADOW_SUPPORT)... but... there was a -lshadow.
But there is no shadow library... I think, with PAM, there is no need of
it... but what then? Without that -lshadow compiled the stuff and seemed
to work... I can log in, change dirs, and so on... but! I can't read/write
any file... perhaps it is a problem with the nfsd package? Or the pcnfsd
package? I have gcc2.7.2p, kernel 2.0.25, pentium memcopy patch, arcnet
and ethernet (the pc-s are on the arcnet), libc 5.4.7
And have no idea...
Please send the answers directly to me (too) because I don't read the
mailing list.
