I regards to my post of 2Nov96 about problems with the 4.0 boot.img and a
failure to detect my Ultrastor 24F SCSI adapter, Michael Ahern wrote:

No, I have not yet found a solution :-(
I've got a couple of support requests into the Red Hat folks. I'm hoping they
might be able to help me here. If and when I do find a solution, I'll
definately post something. I did get one response from a person who had a
second different SCSI card lying around, and was able to use that to
temporarily get through the installation process.
