Haven't had the latest build of MicroStation crash on Linux yet, and I've
never had Linux crash :-)

Which reminds me: I've got to make sure we put a mechanism in place to log
Linux users of the Academic Suite. While it really doesn't matter how
many academic users we get (I mean at least as far as getting
commercially licensed MicroStation/Linux --in all other respects, all you
soon to be academic licensees mean a great deal to me :-), it would be
helpful to at least know per platform percentages for potential commercial
marketshare guesstimates. Right now we're probably in the same boat as
Wolfram as far as tracking numbers: the DOS, Windows, NT, OS/2, Mac, and
Linux versions will all ship in the same package.

Well, there is the Next Generation Object Oriented Internet Aware Super
Duper MicroStation++ coming up in the not too distant future (although I
think the Marketing guys have a different name for it ;-) Don't worry,
though: we take backwards compatibility very seriously here.
