Hi,

I have a SiS6205 on my motherboard, which I got to run with XFree3.1.2.g and
XFree3.2. The only problem is that I can't figure out which clockchip setting
to use, so it gives me no more than 640x480. I tried each clokchip listed by my OLD xf86config programm. I hope to expand this resolution to 1024x786,
I'm awaiting for Eric's XFree3.2 packages to appear in the updates....

In the meantime, i'm using my old ISA Oak 087 card, which is very slow...

B.T.W. If there is someone who can tell me what possible clockchip I could
try........
Thanks!

Anyhow, Dirk, You can get it to run, just install the XFree-SVGA server from
the contrib, any you'll get at least 640x480 out of it.

If you can't figure the XF86config settings ut, let me know, and I'll send you
the relevant part of mine.

Edwin
